The Tenant Project

Homelessness & Emergency Housing

If you’re at risk of losing your home or have nowhere safe to stay, find out where to get urgent help and the organisations that can support you.

Get Support

If you’re worried about becoming homeless or you’ve already lost your home, it’s important to know that help is available.

Whether you’ve been asked to leave by your landlord, are facing eviction, have nowhere safe to stay tonight or simply don’t know what to do next, there are organisations that can provide advice, emergency support and help you understand your options.

If you’re homeless or believe you’ll become homeless within the next 56 days, contact your local council’s Housing Options team as soon as possible. They may have a legal duty to help you.
